Nancy E. Dempze was recently appointed Chair of the Board of Trustees for Manomet, a nonprofit committed to applying science and engaging people and businesses to sustain our planet. Nancy has been a member of the Manomet board since 2012 and served as Vice Chair for the past year. In an announcement by the organization, John Hagan, president of Manomet said, “Nancy believes in putting science to use, and her “can-do” attitude is an inspiration to the board and staff alike.”
A managing director at Hemenway Trust Company, Nancy serves as a professional trustee for individuals and families. She is also a partner at Hemenway & Barnes LLP. With her legal background, experience in nonprofit fundraising, and leadership in land conservation, Nancy is eager to help Manomet further it’s mission.
On July 26, 2018, Manomet will host the Future of Fishing event.
