Christopher M. White, CFA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Hemenway Trust Company. With over 30 years of investment management experience, Chris advises individuals, families and nonprofit institutions on their investment portfolios. He has worked with many of his clients for decades, managing portfolios that combine equity, fixed income and alternative investments.

Serving a broad range of clients, Chris advises extended families on generational wealth planning, asset allocation and specific investments. As an advisor to nonprofit institutions, he helps set investment priorities which range from preservation of capital to investment of endowment assets. Chris also works with entrepreneurial and business clients, where the focus ranges from asset growth to preservation of capital.

In his role as a Senior Portfolio Manager at HTC, Chris also provides research and analytical work for the company, with a particular focus on the finance, energy and materials sectors.

Previously, Chris served as the Chief Investment Officer for a private trust company, and the Chair of the Investment Policy Committee of a prominent private bank.
