Edward Notis-McConarty serves as a Senior Vice President at Hemenway Trust Company. With more than 30 years of investment management and fiduciary experience, Ned serves as a trustee to individuals and families as well as nonprofits and foundations. In addition to helping clients create and implement sound investment programs, Ned helps to preserve and grow client wealth using a sophisticated approach to tax and estate planning.

Also a partner and General Counsel at Hemenway & Barnes LLP, Ned concentrates his legal practice in probate and civil litigation. Trust clients value his litigation and dispute resolution experience as it lends itself to his trust and estate planning advice. Having this added legal perspective, Ned provides thoughtful guidance on wealth management strategies, always conscious of the importance of preventing family disputes and maintaining family harmony.

He has testified to Massachusetts state legislature on gun reform legislation and frequently speaks on this topic at related events.
