Mark Bartram is Deputy General Counsel, Compliance Director and BSA Officer at Hemenway Trust Company. Mark oversees and reports on adherence to the compliance and risk functions of Hemenway Trust Company. He also mentors the trust administration team.

At the outset of his career, Mark served in the United States Coast Guard and later worked for U.S. Senator James M. Jeffords of Vermont before earning his JD at Vermont Law School. He spent eight years as a trusts and estates attorney working with private clients.

Most recently, Mark worked at a Boston-based trust company, providing legal counsel to professional trustees and family office staff on complex legal, tax, fiduciary and compliance matters.
