Doris Merrick is the Trust Administration and Compliance Manager at Hemenway Trust Company. Doris leads a team of Trust Administrators and Assistant Trust Administrators in creating and maintaining client accounts. She is also responsible for assisting in risk oversight and regulatory compliance.
Doris has more than 20 years of experience in estate planning, tax consulting, and compliance management. Her experience includes administering personal and charitable trusts and private foundations; drafting estate planning and trust termination documents; and managing income and gift tax planning and compliance.
Prior to joining Hemenway Trust Company, Doris served in senior trust administration roles in the banking, legal, and accounting fields.
Doris frequently speaks to professional groups on tax and fiduciary issues.
