Christopher M. White Announces His Retirement

After a long and distinguished career in the investment management field, Christopher M. White is retiring from Hemenway Trust Company on December 31, 2020.

A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Chris received a master’s degree in geology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. He has served as an investment advisor for over 30 years, and has worked with many of his clients for decades, advising them on investment opportunities and portfolio management.

Chris joined Hemenway Trust Company in 2015 where he was a trusted advisor to a broad range of clients, including individuals, families, businesses and nonprofit institutions. We thank Chris for his dedication and mentorship and will miss working with him on a daily basis.

Trading his bow ties for boat shoes, Chris hopes to spend much of his time navigating the waterways of the East Coast, the Canadian Maritimes and even the Great Loop. Please join us in wishing Chris well in his future endeavors and congratulating him on a successful career.
