Colby Museum of Art Summer Luncheon 2018

Hemenway Trust Company is proud to sponsor the 2018 Summer Luncheon at the Colby Museum of Art. This year’s event will honor the artist Rackstraw Downes with the 2018 Cummings Award for Artistic Excellence and will also celebrate the impact and legacy of the Marin family with the opening of the exhibitions Self and Society: The Norma Boom Marin Collection of German Expressionist Prints and Modern Wonder: The John Marin Collection.

The Colby College Museum of Art is a collecting and teaching museum dedicated to the preservation, display, and interpretation of the visual arts. The Museum embraces works of art from diverse cultures and historical periods, with a focus on American art, and commitment to collecting and exhibiting contemporary art.
