Mark Elefante is a Managing Director of Hemenway Trust Company. With more than a decade of experience serving as a trustee, Mark works to ensure the goals of individual and family trusts are achieved. He works closely with families to mediate diverse interests and educate the next generation.

As an account manager, Mark assists clients with safeguarding and distributing assets. He advises families on planning for vacation homes and family estates, including trust ownership agreements, management and transferring from one generation to the next. Mark also helps family businesses with succession planning and navigating complex trust issues and family dynamics.

Mark is also the Managing Partner at Hemenway & Barnes LLP. In addition to serving as a trustee, he represents privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations in real estate and business law matters.
